Rules & Resources
Rules, guidance and supporting materials for schools, coaches and participants in STEAM Champions UAE.
What you will find here
This section holds the rules, guidance and supporting materials for STEAM Champions UAE.
It is the source schools, coaches and participants should work from. Where any other page describes the programme in general terms, the documentation published here is what applies.
Material is organised so that schools can find what relates to their category and to the current season.
Working from current documentation
Requirements can change between seasons.
- Check here rather than relying on a general description. Category and programme pages explain what a category covers; the requirements that apply come from the documentation published in this section.
- Check the current season’s materials alongside it. Where something applies to the current season specifically, it is set out in the season materials.
That is the reason this section exists as a single maintained destination rather than as information distributed across the site: documentation published here is kept current, so schools and coaches are not working from a description written for an earlier season.
Two things follow for anyone preparing an entry:
If you cannot find what you are looking for, or are unsure which documentation applies, contact the EduStream team.
Who this section is for
Schools considering or confirming participation, and needing to understand what taking part involves.
Coaches — the teachers supporting participating students — who need the current guidance for the category their students are entering.
Participants working on an entry, and the teachers supporting them.
Documentation by category
Requirements and guidance differ by category. Each category page explains what that category covers; the documentation that applies to it is published in this section.
- AI, Robotics & Drones — the technical category
- Circular Futures Innovation & Venture Challenge — the innovation category
- Circular Stories Creative Challenge — the creative communication category
- Global Online Division — a participation route for entries submitted online
Students take part in one category. The documentation relevant to a participant is the documentation for the category they have entered, together with anything that applies programme-wide.
