WhalesBot Eagle 3002 is a programmable FPV (first-person view) drone for advanced STEM learning. Students see what the drone sees through its live camera feed while they code its routes and actions, turning instructions into real movement in the air.
Key features (WhalesBot)
- Real-time FPV video: 1080p / 30fps
- Multi-sensor: sense, react, follow
- Programming: code routes and trigger actions
- 4 expandable input/output ports
- Brushless motors for stable, smooth flight
Specifications (WhalesBot)
- Structural parts: protective frame, propellers, main control board; 4 input/output ports supporting sensors and modules
- Actuators: 4 brushless motors
- Sensors: optical flow sensor, laser range sensor, TOF sensor, vision camera (AprilTag recognition)
- Controller: ARM M4 processor, 600 MHz, 3 MB Flash, 1 MB SRAM; Bluetooth remote controller
- Programming: graphical programming, C language and Python
- Camera: yes (live FPV video)
- QR vision module: yes
- Connectivity: Bluetooth
- Flight time: more than 8 minutes
Educational uses
- See and understand: with live FPV, students see what the drone sees and better understand flight, space and direction.
- Code and control: students code routes, trigger actions and see digital instructions become real movement in the air.
- Sense and extend: sensors help the drone respond to its surroundings, while expandable ports support additional modules and more advanced projects.
Note: Eagle 3002 is a different model from the Eagle 3001, Eagle 2001, Eagle 1003 and Eagle 125F. WhalesBot recommends the Eagle 3002 when live FPV video is the priority; the Eagle 3001 has no camera and a longer flight time (more than 10 minutes).
