Student Workshops & Enrichment

Practical, hands-on workshops that build real STEAM skills

EduStream delivers student workshops that schools can select by topic and age group — supporting practical, project-based learning through real builds, not lectures.

Who it is for

Who workshops and enrichment are for

Workshops suit schools and partners who want practical student engagement in a short, defined format.

Activity and enrichment coordinators

Staff planning ECA sessions, clubs, theme days and school events who need a ready-to-deliver practical activity.

Heads of STEAM, ICT and innovation

Subject leaders who want students to experience robotics, AI or coding before committing to a longer programme.

School leadership and operations

Teams arranging holiday camps, open days and parent-facing showcases within a fixed date and budget.

Government, CSR and event partners

Organisations sponsoring student sessions at public events, book festivals or community programmes.

The problem

What problem workshops solve

Not every school need requires a year-long commitment. Workshops address the gap between wanting practical STEAM engagement and having the staff, kit and time to run it.

  • Students have limited hands-on experience of robotics, AI, coding or electronics.
  • The school does not yet own the equipment a practical session needs.
  • No member of staff is currently confident running a technical build session.
  • A theme day, camp, open day or event needs a credible learning activity.
  • Leadership wants to test student interest before investing in a lab or programme.
  • A sponsor or partner needs student sessions delivered at a public venue.

Delivery may be school-based, public, sponsored, term-based or short-format. The model is confirmed with the school or partner.

Formats

Workshop and enrichment formats

School workshops

Sessions delivered on site for selected classes or year groups.

Holiday camps

Multi-day practical technology camps outside term time.

Book-festival and public-event workshops

Short guided activities delivered at public venues and events.

Corporate and CSR student programmes

Sponsored student sessions delivered on behalf of a partner organisation.

Enrichment and ECA sessions

Recurring club or after-school activity across a term.

Age-appropriate learning missions

Guided build, code and test missions matched to the age band in the room.

What students do

Workshop topics

Each topic is delivered as a guided, hands-on session built around a real project. Schools choose the topics and age groups that fit their students.

Robotics

Build, wire and program robots — from first builds to autonomous challenges.

AI & Machine Learning

Hands-on introductions to how machines learn, classify and make decisions.

Coding & Programming

Block-based and text coding through real, buildable student projects.

IoT

Connect sensors and devices to explore how smart systems work in the real world.

Drones

Flight, control and programming fundamentals in a guided, safe setting.

3D Printing & TinkerCAD Design

Design in 3D and bring student ideas to a printed, physical model.

Featured workshop

World Water Day

A collaborative, challenge-based workshop

A collaborative workshop designed to introduce students to future technologies — combining learning with hands-on experimentation and teamwork around one of the world’s most important challenges.

  • Cross-disciplinary, challenge-based activity.
  • Hands-on experimentation in mixed teams.
  • Connects STEAM skills to a real-world theme.
What EduStream provides

What EduStream provides for a workshop

A workshop is delivered as a complete package so the school does not need to assemble it.

Coaches and facilitators

EduStream staff who run the session with the students.

Kits and equipment

The robotics, electronics, drone or 3D design resources the activity requires.

Setup and materials

Session setup, consumables and supporting materials brought to the venue.

Age-appropriate learning missions

Activity content matched to the age band and time available.

Session reporting

A record of what was delivered and what students worked on.

Progression options

Recommendations if the school wants to extend the topic into a longer programme.

Delivery

How a workshop is delivered

Workshops follow a short, predictable delivery path.

Requirements: topic, age group, numbers and dates

Recommendation and session outline

Proposal and confirmation of scope

Setup, delivery and facilitation on the day

Reporting and follow-up options

Venue requirements, group sizes and supervision arrangements are agreed before the session.

Educational value

What educational value a workshop creates

Learning that students remember

Workshops are practical and project-based — students build, test and present real work during the session.

Exposure without commitment

Students and staff experience robotics, AI, coding or 3D design before the school commits to equipment or a year-long programme.

Teamwork and problem-solving

Mixed teams work through a guided challenge, so collaboration and iteration are part of the activity.

A visible outcome for the school

Sessions produce student work, photographs and reporting that leadership, parents and sponsors can see.

Support

What support is included

Workshop support is defined in the agreed scope and can include:

  • consultation on topic, age band and session length;
  • demonstrations of the equipment used;
  • setup and configuration of kit at the venue;
  • facilitation by EduStream coaches during the session;
  • materials and consumables for the activity;
  • session reporting for the school or sponsor;
  • teacher guidance where school staff take part;
  • recommendations for continuing the topic afterwards.

Service levels, response times and warranty terms are confirmed contractually and are not published here.

Evidence

What evidence supports this page

Capability, stated without unverified numbers

EduStream’s documented service model includes student workshops and enrichment alongside curriculum, LMS, teacher training, competitions, lab setup and after-sales service. Topics, age bands, session length and pricing are confirmed per school or partner. Named schools, attendance figures, sponsor names, accreditations and outcome statistics are not published on this page until EduStream has confirmed the supporting evidence and permissions.
